Common questions
Q. How many treatments will I need and how often?

A. There is no standard number of treatments but the practitioner will consider the following:
  • whether the complaint is a long term (chronic) problem or a recent one;
  • the general wellbeing of the individual; and
  • the constitutional nature of the person and the nature of the illness.
For example, if the person has a strained muscle and is in good health, then 1-2 treatments will normally be all that is required.

For longer term problems, such as back pain, sciatica or frozen shoulder, 6-8 treatments may be required to build up the person’s vitality and relieve symptoms.

People with chronic debilitating illness, such as chronic fatigue or auto-immune disease, will often be required to have ongoing treatments with scheduled breaks.

Q. After my problem is fixed, do I need to come back?

A. Many people experience the benefits of having regular maintenance treatments and have ongoing treatments every month to improve their wellbeing and reduce stress levels.
